For Android Phones and Windows PCs

Your Phone on a Desk Stand Becomes a Touch Deck for Your PC

Tap a tile and your PC gets the shortcut. Keyperch pairs with Windows as a Bluetooth keyboard, so there is nothing to install on the PC.

How It Works

Keyperch works in two ways. The first needs nothing on the PC. The second adds a free Windows app for more.

  1. Nothing to Install

A Keyboard Your PC Already Understands

Pair the phone with Windows once, the way you would pair a Bluetooth keyboard. Keyperch then sends the keys for every tile you tap.

    • Hotkeys and media keys with no software, driver or account on the PC.
    • Tap a tile to send a shortcut. A tile can also keep its keys down for as long as you hold it, for push to talk.
    • No Wi-Fi needed. The keys travel over Bluetooth.
    • F13 to F24 are there too. No physical keyboard has them, so a tool such as AutoHotkey can map them to anything without clashing with your other shortcuts.
  2. Optional and Free

Add Keyperch for Windows for More

Install the free Windows app and pair it with the phone by scanning a code on the PC screen. The two talk over your home network.

    • Live PC stats on tiles: CPU, RAM, GPU, video memory, disk and network speed.
    • Launch tiles that open an app, a file or a web page on the PC.
    • Edit your deck on the PC. Drag tiles onto a true-size copy of your phone screen, then send the deck to the phone.
    • Both screens show the same 6 digits when you pair, and nothing is trusted until you confirm they match.
    • No admin rights, no drivers and no open ports on the PC.

What Keyperch Does

  • Hotkeys and Media Keys

Any key combination, from Ctrl+C to Win+Shift+S. Play, pause, skip, mute and volume. If the connection drops, Keyperch lets go of every held key, and the deck tells you when a key may be stuck.

  • Macros

Chain keys, typed text, waits, media keys, Home Assistant actions and page switches. Tap Stop, press a volume key or leave the deck, and the macro stops with every key released.

  • Home Assistant

Live tiles for lights, switches and scenes; light and switch tiles show whether they are on. Connect with a long-lived access token from your Home Assistant profile.

  • Now Playing

Album art, the title, and play, pause and skip controls for whatever is playing on the phone, from any app with media controls. There is nothing to sign in to.

  • Made for the Stand

Keyperch notices when the phone sits on its stand. The deck dims after 10 minutes without a touch on a charging stand, or 3 on battery, and shifts a few pixels every 3 minutes to spread screen wear. After 30 minutes off the stand, it lets go of the PC keyboard.

  • Editing on the Phone

Add, change and move tiles and pages on the deck itself, with undo and redo. Export the whole deck as one file, and import it on another phone.

  • Four Free Themes

Graphite is true black for OLED screens. Ember uses only black, amber and red, for night. High Contrast has heavier text and borders. Paper is dark text on light. Each theme has 8 tile tints. Tiles can show any of 7,188 icons.

  • Safe by Default

Anything changed off the phone, such as an imported file or a deck sent from the PC, arrives locked until you approve it on the unlocked phone. Risky Home Assistant tiles need a long press, and door, gate and garage tiles stay off over the lock screen.

  • Large Text and TalkBack

At large text sizes the deck switches to fewer, bigger tiles. Tiles have TalkBack labels, and every move in the editor has a button, not only a drag.

Free is the whole idea in a smaller size. Pro is one payment that unlocks more of it. There is no subscription, no ads and no account.

  • Keyperch for Windows

Optional and free. Needs Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11, with the phone and PC on the same home network. Guest and office networks often block it.
